Dr. Jason Orey DC, MS

Jason Orey Chiropractor

Dr. Jason Orey was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where his passion for health and the human body first began. As a multi-sport athlete growing up—playing football, rugby, and wrestling—he frequently found himself in the care of his teams’ athletic therapists. These experiences sparked a lasting interest in injury recovery and human performance. Even while managing his own injuries, Dr. Orey was always curious about his teammates’ rehab journeys, which fueled his desire to help others reach their physical potential.

He began his academic career at Mount Royal University in Calgary while playing junior football for the Calgary Colts. After sustaining an ACL tear in his left knee, he decided to shift his focus from athletics to academics and transferred to Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, BC, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He went on to complete his Doctorate of Chiropractic and Master’s in Sports Medicine at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, graduating in 2020.

During the final year of his chiropractic training, Dr. Orey completed a clinical internship under Dr. Montgomery in Gresham, where he gained hands-on experience with a variety of techniques including the McKenzie Method (MDT), Neurodynamics, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), and evidence-based rehab and strengthening principles. He has completed Part A of the McKenzie Method and Neurodynamics certifications and integrates these techniques into his treatment plans to help patients manage and overcome their symptoms effectively. Additionally, Dr. Orey is a Level 2 Medical Professional through the Titleist Performance Institute and enjoys working with fellow golfers to optimize performance and manage golf-related injuries.

Dr. Orey is also Webster Certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), a specialized technique designed to support pelvic balance and function during pregnancy. This certification allows him to work confidently and safely with pregnant patients, helping to promote comfort and reduce pain for birth. He also welcomes pediatric patients into his practice, aiming to support children’s health and development through gentle, age-appropriate chiropractic care

Dr. Orey believes in empowering patients to take control of their health. His treatment approach combines chiropractic adjustments, individualized rehab and exercise programs, and manual therapies to target the root cause of symptoms. He places a strong emphasis on education and communication, building trust and collaboration with every patient to achieve meaningful, long-term results.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Orey enjoys staying active—whether he’s on the golf course, at the racquetball court, or exploring new places with his wife. A proud Canadian, he’s a lifelong Edmonton Oilers fan and never misses a chance to talk hockey. He’s also a passionate motorsports enthusiast who enjoys visiting local racetracks and following various racing series on TV.
